Join us to explore how we can ensure the resilience, safety, and reliability of infrastructure systems amidst uncertain climate futures. This workshop, organized by the Danish Association of Consulting Engineers (FRI) and the Joint Committee on Structural Safety (JCSS), aims to:
Concept and Structure: The 2-day workshop will bring together global professionals, including climate scientists, infrastructure owners, operators, contractors, consultants, and regulators.
Venue and Logistics: The workshop will be held at Industriens Hus, Copenhagen, centrally located near Tivoli and main transport hubs. A variety of hotels are within walking distance.
Registration: Register and pay the participation fee of DKK 3.000 (includes lunch and dinner) by June 16, 2025. Early registration is encouraged due to limited space.
Background: Climate change poses significant challenges for infrastructure systems. This workshop aims to address these challenges by leveraging our strong tradition and knowledge base in dealing with climate-related uncertainties.
Organization: Supported by a local organizing committee and an international scientific committee, including Michael Havbro Faber (NIRAS), Inger Birgitte Kroon (COWI), and Søren Randrup Thomsen (Ramboll).
